The Cadet is a RYA Recognised Junior Class and World Sailing International Class. The Club has five boats available to hire to help young sailors tranistion from thier RYA courses into the race coaching sessions run on a Saturday morning. They can also be hired for racing or joining in other organised sailing sessions at the Club.

The boats all had new sails in 2024, including new spinnakers.
